The company said the expanded deal will provide partners with new opportunities to take an AI driven approach to cybersecurity via access to the Google Cloud Security suite, including Chronicle Security Operations.

“With this expansion, our partners can distinguish themselves by delivering enterprise advanced security offerings with capabilities in threat detection, investigation and response,” Kuo Yoong, head of cloud at Synnex ANZ said.

As part of the agreement, Synnex will provide partners with Google Cloud Security training and certifications as part of its existing education and channel enablement program.

“In the face of the rapidly expanding global threat landscape, this collaboration comes at a critical time as we remain steadfast in ensuring our partners have access to a highly reliable security platform,” said Arthur Gimisis, CEO at Synnex ANZ.
