National cyber director part of special livestreamed event hosted Wednesday by McCrary Institute – Auburn Engineering

White House National Cyber Director Harry Coker Jr., will discuss the National Cybersecurity Strategy Implementation Plan on a special livestreamed event  Wednesday, May 22, 9:30 a.m. CDT, presented by Auburn University’s McCrary Institute for Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security.

Coker, who was confirmed as national cyber director Dec. 23, 2023, is a 20-year Navy veteran, retired Central Intelligence Agency senior executive and former executive director of the National Security Agency. He is expected to give a short presentation, followed by a one-on-one moderated chat with McCrary Institute Director Frank Cilluffo.

McCrary Institute Senior Fellow Katherine Gronberg, head of government services at investment and advisory firm NightDragon, will also moderate a panel discussion on the National Cybersecurity Strategy Implementation Plan with select senior government representatives.
